Three phase power, machine connections, motor circuits and fault finding on sites where downtime is the real cost.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Nolah Electrical holds a Western Australian electrical contractor licence and carries public liability insurance. Our licence number is shown in the header and footer of every page on this site, and we are happy to provide a certificate of currency on request.
What areas of Perth do you cover?
We cover the Perth metropolitan area, both north and south of the river. Regional Western Australian work can be arranged. If you are unsure whether we reach your suburb, call and ask.
Do you charge for quotes?
No. Quotes are free, and we give you a firm written price for the scope described rather than an estimate that moves later. If a job needs investigation before it can be priced, such as an intermittent fault, we will tell you what that investigation costs before we start.
Do you do emergency or after hours work?
After hours and emergency callouts can be arranged. Call the number on this site and if we can get to you we will tell you when, rather than leaving you waiting.
Do you work on commercial and industrial sites, or just homes?
All three. Roughly speaking we split our work across residential jobs, commercial fit outs and maintenance, and industrial work including three phase and machine connections. The licensing and insurance is the same across all of it.
Will I get a certificate for the work?
Yes. Every job is tested on completion and you receive an electrical safety certificate for the work carried out. Keep it, because it matters at sale or insurance time.
My switchboard still has ceramic fuses. Is that a problem?
It is worth addressing. Ceramic fuses offer no RCD protection, which is what actually protects people rather than just the wiring. A switchboard upgrade adds safety switches, gives you circuit breakers that reset instead of needing fuse wire, and creates spare capacity for things like an EV charger or air conditioning later.
How soon can you get to me?
It depends on the job and the week, but we will give you a real date rather than a vague one. If we cannot get to you quickly we will say so, so you can make other arrangements.
